TERMS OF SERVICE/REFUND POLICY
TERMS OF SALE:
50% down, including shipping and handling is required with each order. No work will proceed until down payment has been received. No refunds are given once your order has been approved and in production. No partial refunds for work not completed.
Refund Policy:
All sales are final. No refunds are available on orders unless files have NOT been sent to production and the refund is requested the same business day. In the case of a refund on an order where the work has not started, the refund is subject to a $50.00 processing fee. Design fees are non-refundable.
File Requirements:
All images, after being enlarged or reduced for reproduction, will crop automatically 1/16” (0.0625) to 1/8” (0.125) to allow for bleed and/or cutting. Please see our file checklist for more details *. Gila Monster Printing cannot process orders that do not meet the minimum requirements.
Turnaround Time:
Turnaround time begins when we receive approval of proof sent.
• 10am: Same Day
• 12pm: Next Day
• Later than 12pm: 2-day turn
Orders sent to press after 4pm Arizona Time will begin counting turnaround time the next business day. Business days are Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5pm AZ Time. Turnaround time does not apply to Saturdays, Sundays and most state and Federal holidays. Turnaround does not begin until acceptable artwork has been provided and proofs approved by customer.
Please note that if we are unable to print your files because they do not conform to our file requirements, your job status will return to “On Hold – Need Artwork” status and your turnaround time will be reset.
Gila Monster Printing assumes no responsibility for delays caused by machine equipment failure, natural disasters, and delivery carriers or any damages resulting from failure to receive a job on time. Our expected delivery date is not guaranteed.
Rush Charges/Rush Service:
We will move the client job to the top of the list for the next available production run. It does not guarantee turnaround time; however, through proper communication with our staff listing desired completion time, etc. we almost always meet or beat expectations. If Same Day is required, a rush fee will be equal to 100% of print charge will be applied to the final invoice. If Next Day is required rush fee will be equal to 50% of print charge will be applied to the final invoice.
Will Call/Refusal:
Will call orders will be kept for 10 days from the delivery of the notification email. Orders left at Gila Monster Printing for more than 10 days will be considered abandoned and will be recycled. Should a delivery be refused by a client, an additional charge of $25-$50 will be charged to the card on file.
Proofs: IMPORTANT:
The client is 100% responsible for the accuracy of their layouts. Please proofread all layouts carefully. Acceptance of an email proof will be deemed binding. The client is responsible to check and verify all copy such as names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. turn around will not start until final approval has been received and approved. If you require a physical proof there will be a charge of $20.00 added to the final invoice. If physical proof requires mailing, all shipping costs will be added to final invoice.
Sales Tax:
All Arizona orders are subject to a sales tax of 6.3%. If customer is tax exempt, exemption certificate (form 5000) must be sent to us with first job order.
Indemnification:
The client will indemnify and hold harmless the printer, Gila Monster Printing, LLC (or it’s parent company Lyrical Communications, LLC) from any and all loss, cost expense, and damages on any and all manner of claims, demands, actions, and proceeding that may be instituted against the printer on grounds alleging that said printing violates any copyright or any proprietary right of any person. The client certifies that they own the rights to use the image(s) being reproduced on their order.
Final Quality Check:
Final quality check will occur at time of pick up and/or delivery. Acceptance of completed product will constitute final approval and recipient will be held responsible.
Order Completion Notification:
Once an order is complete and ready for pickup, an automatically generated email will be delivered to the account on file notifying the client of this. From time to time these emails will end up in junk mail, please be aware of this. This will be the only communication. We will not provide a courtesy call once an order is ready.
Print Ready Files:
We prefer vector-formatted files If you are sending over a print ready PDF file • Include 0.125” (1/8 inch) bleed when sending over art work with full bleed.
All Fonts Need To Be Outlined • Please include crop marks and cut lines. If the client is sending over print ready files, GILA MONSTER PRINTING is NOT responsible for any poor print quality due to imagery that is not of optimal resolution or size, low-resolution graphics, missing fonts, or quality issues due to anti-aliasing. All artwork must be supplied at high resolution (at least 300 dpi) at or near actual print size. We accept most file formats including AI, EPS, JPG, PDF and PSD. It is essential that the file you provide is as high quality as possible as this will affect the print quality. If the client is unsure whether your artwork is of high enough resolution, please contact us so that we may review your file and let you know.
Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen and from printer to printer. For example, if something looks a certain way on the client’s phone, for instance, it may look different on their computer at home or office. It may also look different from the client’s printer to ours. If the client requires an exact ink color, please provide a Pantone® reference, otherwise we will use the closest match as per our computers.
Every effort will be made to reproduce ink colors for reprints, but please send us a sample if the client requires an exact match. It should be noted that while every effort and industry standard process will be followed, digital printing systems may not precisely match provided Pantone® color tones. This is a technical limitation, and such jobs that require this precision should consider offset reprographic technologies. We will provide guidance on best practices and technologies for projects like this. To use imagery you have supplied, it is your responsibility to supply us with artwork for which the client has the relevant permissions, licenses and model releases (if applicable) to use for print. GILA MONSTER PRINTING accepts no responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by using artwork supplied to us. GILA MONSTER PRINTING is happy to offer guidance for the ideal substrate (e.g. paper) for your printing needs. If the client has specific requirements, it is their responsibility to communicate this to us before printing and have it confirmed in writing.
Design Fee:
A design fee of $30.00 (USD) per 15 minutes will be required for any changes to submitted print-ready artwork, or requested changes to be made after final approval has been received. If in the event printing has begun and a change or stoppage of the order is requested, the client is responsible for the portion of the job that has been produced as well as any necessary reproductions.
